As a quick summary, I probably could have just said "racial and feat based spells with a spell save DC don't seem to benefit from magic items that raise spell save DC" but I ramble for a bit with examples just to make sure it's defined specifically enough
I ran into a bit of a hiccup tonight with the Robe of the Archmagi, as well as with a home-brewed item I've made, that raise your spell save DC as well as your spell attack bonus.
As the First note, it's not actually affecting the spell save DC from magic initiate feats at all, regardless of the caster attuned to it, or the class that the magic initiate feat is for. It does seem to work for the spell attack bonuses for spells picked from initiate (as well as the attack bonuses for spells picked from spell sniper), so that's good. Just not bumping the spell save DC of spells picked from Initiate
Aaand on the second note, there's a similar disparity on what it will affect for racial spells. For example, the Levistus Tiefling has Ray of Frost as a racial spell, and the Robes accurately add +2 to their spell attack bonus for Ray of Frost. However, a stock and feral Tiefling with Hellish Rebuke as a racial spell gains no benefit from the Robes in this spell's DC. Another example, a Dark elf wearing the robes has Faerie Fire, and the Robes don't raise the spell DC for that racial spell. Also, putting the High Drow Magic feat on the same Dark elf in question, they gain Levitate but the same issue arises that the Robes of the Archmagi don't augment the spell DC for that Levitate in this case either.
I first noticed the issue using a home-brewed race and a home-brewed item that are pretty much just the benefits of the robe reflavored into a different item, but the items themselves, or at least the particular property to add to spell DC, seems to be inactive for spells gained from certain features even if the Robe's suggested description is that it has sweeping coverage for the spells cast by the user.
For the moderators: here is the character sheet that I found this error on. Note the difference in DC between Gust and Faerie Fire, and to-hit of Thorn Whip vs Guiding Bolt and my Custom Spell Attacks for my companions.
I made sure to use both homebrew and official features/sources to show that this isn’t a problem because of the (rather large) amounts of homebrew on the character, but because of an incompatibility with Fighting Styles (though it does seem that Magic Initiate (at least my homebrew version of it) works).

Just wanted to say that this has still not been fixed, or at least has re-broken. Tasha’s Fighting Styles do not benefit either.
