I might be missing something, but from what i’ve seen the only way to level up when using d&d beyond is to go into the character editor and level up. Is there an easier way I’m missing?
No, that's about it, because for most characters, there will be something that needs to be updated besides just the level. Spells, abilities, etc, that can only (or more easily) be done from the editor interface rather than the sheet.
I mean like changing my character to level 2 sorry. Should of been more specific. I mean is there an easier way to make it go to level 2, not upgrade its skills, such as with exp, you just press a button and change the exp, not go into the editor and Level it up. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense.
Even with XP, you're only adding XP, you're not leveling up right from the character sheet. If you meet the XP requirements to level up, you still need to enter the character editor to actually level up manually.
