In the character builder I cannot see one of my homebrew races. I have homebrew turned on and all my other races are there, what's wrong?
Sometimes it takes a while for homebrew to be pushed through to your character sheet, and it can take anywhere from instantaneously to fifteen to twenty minutes. Often times, it is just a matter of waiting and doing something else for half an hour and then come back and test the homebrew later.
Have you tried publishing a copy of the homebrew? Or is it already published?
I do NOT recommend publishing homebrew unless you actually really want it to be seen by lots of people. I would not publish homebrew just to troubleshoot an issue, and that is not what publishing is for. Once you publish something, it will be stuck there permanently.
