HI,

I'm having a really hard time making Add Equipment do what I need it to.

Here's my equipment list:  A small knife, a religious text or holy symbol (either given or stolen), a set of artisan’s tools OR musical instrument (practical, but of poor quality), a set of common clothes, and a belt pouch containing 10 gp

So what I want should look like this:

[] A small knife

[] a religious text OR a holy symbol (either given or stolen)

[] a religious text

OR

[] a holy symbol

[] a set of artisan’s tools OR musical instrument (practical, but of poor quality)

[] artisan’s tools

OR

[] musical instrument 

[] a set of common clothes

[] a belt pouch 

[] 10 gold pieces

But unfortunately what I get looks like this:

[] A small knife

[] a set of common clothes

[] a belt pouch 

[] 10 gold pieces

Or

[] a religious text

OR

[] a holy symbol

OR

[] artisan’s tools

OR

[] musical instrument

I've updated the Temple Slave background for you. Check out the equipment section now, and you can see how I configured it. I know it's not the greatest UX at the moment. We'll be doing another round of UX improvements on all of our homebrew forms in the not too distant future.

Thank you, that's perfect.

I'm not sure what you did differently that prevented the "OR" being inserted between every line. I think I may have omitted filling the first form fillable space "Add Equipment" each time. 

Unfortunately, I am still unable to duplicate this. When I try making other backgrounds, I still get the OR between each item in the list.

Look at the equipment section at the bottom of the main form on the one I edited - see how the different parts of the phrase have separate entries - not all one entry.

I just got "Southlands Heroes" from Kobold Press last week as part of my first Humble Bundle. 

I'll probably be recreating this (and many other things from Kobold Press) as part of my private homebrew too.
