I purchased Xanathar's Guide to Everything on D&D Beyond, and I intend to swap out my character's Sorcerous Origin from Wild Magic to Shadow Magic. However, despite owning Xanathar's, I still only have the option of selecting Wild Magic or Draconic Magic. It doesn't work on any characters, new or old, and I have double-checked to make sure I still have access to the Xanathar's book.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thanks!
that under 'Account Entitlements' it says that they're in sync. If it doesn't, follow whatever directions it provides.
what you have under 'Current Product Licenses.' Make sure Xanathar's is there, and that it doesn't say that you bought the compendium (which is $19.99 at regular price) instead of the full sourcebook (which is $29.99 at regular price, though there was a sale recently). The compendium is basically a read-only version, it doesn't interact with the character builder. But if you did buy that by mistake, the cost of that will count against the cost of the full book, and you'll only have to pay the difference, so you haven't lost any money.
