I have a large amount of digital content which I purchased through D&D Beyond some time ago. As I'm making NPC characters for a campaign I'm running, much of that content is not available, including all of the expanded classes and subclasses from Tasha's.
I assume you purchased and want to work with the 2014 rules, not the new ones.
It sounds like you picked the updated version of the class, instead of the legacy one. You'll need to delete the class and add the legacy version. (Turn off "core rules" and "expanded rules" in the builder to get rid of the stuff you presumably don't want, and leave the legacy version of those toggles on.)
The 2024 classes can't use the old version of any subclass that's been updated for the new rules, which includes a bunch of the Tasha's ones, and the Tasha's optional class features are only for the 2014 classes. (They were incorporated, made redundant, or the class was improved in other ways)
