So, the fact that the spells from the shadow touched feat don't get added to your list of known and prepared spells was bothering me. This caused issues when I tried using a spell slot to cast them. The only way I was able to figure out how to add those spells was to make a homebrew subclass based on my actual subclass and just add those spells to that subclass as a feature, as known, always prepared spells that use the correct spellcasting modifier. I then went to my character sheet and noticed that there was a difference in the attack modifier of Inflict Wounds, between the one given by the feat (which is on my sheet) and the one that would use a spell slot.
The character is a level 20 character for an upcoming one shot, they are Artificer 1/Chronurgist 19. They have an INT of 22 (tome of clear thought) and a staff of power. Their spell attack modifier should be +14, and their save DC should be 20 (staff of power only affects attack rolls). The free casting of inflict wounds is showing the correct modifier of +14, but the version of inflict wounds that would use a spell slot is only showing +12. All their other spells that they have from Wizard or Artificer have the correct modifiers.
Spells added by class features don't get affected by magic items. Full stop.
It is a known bug that is on a list of things to fix. The character sheet has a lot of planned revisions to make it work better and they are changing it slowly (and mostly back end) so as not to break anything.
