As a 7th level caster, I get one 4th level slot. As a 6th level wizard, I don't get to automatically learn a 4th level spell. However, the slot should print on the PDF, so that I know it is available to cast lower level spells at a higher level.
Actual Behaviour:
No 4th level slots print on the PDF character sheet.
Additional info:
When I level the character to Cleric 1/Wizard 7, the character now has two 4th level slots. However, the slota still do not print on the character sheet. Only after learning a spell of 4th level (because I'm now 7th lv wizard) do the 4th level slots appear (and the 4th level spell). Therefore, the bug here seems to be that slots are not appearing when there are no known spells of the slot level. Please remove needing to know a spell of a certain level as a pre-requisite for available slots printing on the PDF.
Ok, the issue that can be seen, and likely isnt an easy fix and isnt a priority because PDFs are an addon so not a full priority. I also dont see it as something that will be fixed anytime in the near future with all the work dumped on them from Wizards with the new books coming up.
Level 8 Paladin for example doesnt have access to 3rd level spells, you get that at the Paladin's 9th level. So when the information is sent to the sheet for PDF creation/printing aint looking at the fact you have Slots at 3rd level you can use, but what spells you have access to. Remember Paladin's are given their spells by their deity, so have a list of spells you go from to prepare for the day. No 3rd level spells available to prepare since you arent 9th, no spells to list. Slots mean nothing to the information put on the sheet.
Is it annoying for those little slot circles not to be showing on the PDF, maybe, but the PDF was designed to be printed, not used online, so therefore there is enough room to add a line which would put Level 3 Slots O O or whatever number you have to cast. You can even add it yourself if you have the know how within the PDF programs.
Scenario:
I have a Cleric 1/Wizard 6 multi-class character.

Thanks!
I note that this issue still exists. I have a new and current example a couple of years on...
Scenario:
I have a Paladin 8/Sorcerer 1
Expected Behaviour:
I should see 2x lv3 slots on the export to PDF character sheet (even though I don't have any level 3 spells).
Actual Behaviour:
Level 3 slots are not shown on the PDF character sheet. They are however shown on the online character sheet.
