I have created a Homebrew magic item (variant of the Magicians Judge, making it a +1 great sword as well as the dispel magic ability). It is the 3rd magic Item I have home brewed however the players in my campaign are unable to see it when they can view all the others? What might I be doing wrong here?
Do the players have Homebrew content enabled for their characters? It can be toggled on from the Character Builder or the sheet itself, but is not on by default. Also are the players in a campaign with you?
character is in the campaign and has homebrew content enabled. I ended up having to publish the sword in order for the player to see it so got it working, will have a play another day and see if it is the same for all magic items?
Sometimes it can take up to 20 minutes for homebrew changes to "percolate" to the server with the character sheets. It can also sometimes help to "refresh" a character by bumping them up a level and then back down, to make sure the new stuff gets loaded into the sheet and builder.
Publishing the item was not a good idea even if it "solved" the problem, since that means you won't be able to edit it without creating a new version.

Wasn't ideal but I can't see me editing it, will try and remember that in future though thanks, player had found it and wanted to attach it so could use it by the end of the session to try it out. You know how players are with new toys :).

Helpful rewriter of Japanese->English translation and delver into software codebases (she/e/they)
