D&D Beyond and Wizard of the Coast are two separate companies. Outside of specific partnered cases (the Essentials Kit offering a code to unlock the adventure content for free on D&D Beyond) there is no way to make a purchase of a physical book and get the digital toolset content, or vice versa.
You are free to recreate all of the content you own in the physical books using the homebrew tools, as long as it is for your own personal use and you don't publish it publicly. You may also purchase subclasses, magic items, spells, etc. piecemeal if you would prefer to use only a small subset of the material. And any content purchased in this way will subtract from the overall cost of the digital book, if you should decide to purchase the rest of the content in the future.
