Currently have characters in a friends campaign and I can't access feats and other options from the books he owns. Why is this?

Is content sharing turned on for the campaign? If yes, have whoever is providing the content sharing a. check that their master tier subscription hasn't lapsed, b. try turning content sharing off then on again.
