I have a player out this week. He asked that another player take up his character in his absence. Cool.
I go to my iPad Pro, navigate to the campaign I run, navigate to his character, from the "portrait menu" I select Shareable Link. The dialog box appears as expected and I select the copy link button. Link Copied.
I then navigate to Mail, write a quick note to the pitch-player, and select Paste. A blank and carriage return appears in the email. There is nothing to indicate a link has been shared.
When I retried this on my desktop, the functionality worked as expected.
I am not sure if the problem exists in D&D Beyond for copying, or in the iPad for pasting. Other information pastes into emails as expected.
