I was using the book of ancient secrets ability in a level 3 warlock and noticed a bug when choosing the spells for it. In the description for the ability it says I can have two spells but below are three drop down menus for spells. I was confused about this and when I chose a spell for each box another one appeared. And once a spell was chosen for that box another drop down box appeared and so on. Basically this bug allows unlimited spells using the book of ancient secrets ability. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this.
This is as intended. You gain the first two spells for free, and then the player is able to copy additional ritual spells into the Book if they encounter any in spellbooks or spell scrolls, and spend the time and money to do so. DDB doesn't know what spells your DM will give you access to, so it depends on you to add just the spells you actually find and copy.
(You can remove any of those spell dropdowns by setting the spell selection back to "-- Select a Spell".)

Thx for that clarification.
Any idea why the third dropdown would be empty? I don't have any other spells to select from.
