The Circle of the Land (Swamp) Gives both Melf's Acid arrow and Acid Arrow. That means it gives the same spell twice! Can someone look into that, please?
Edit: And I mean the spells that automatically get prepared from the subclass
I just noticed this too. The spell details looks the same but the name is different, the "Acid Arrow" entry does not mention the page number in the PHB, "Melf's Acid Arrow" does mention the page number.
It's the PHB version and the SRD version. Spells with names(Such as Otiluke's Resilient Sphere or Melf's Acid Arrow) have the wizard's name taken out or replaced in the spell's name, because of copyright laws.
I get that something in the database is logically causing this but its still a bug IMO even if its just "polish", it reflects badly on the image of D&D beyond as something you would pay for.
There should probably be some kind of version-stack for items, spells etc. so that later editions or addendums versions of things or versions in content that you have access to can override the existing ones.
If you only have access to the SRD spells you will only see Acid Arrow
If you from somewhere (bought by yourself, or shared through campaign) have access to the PHB, you will also see Melf's Acid Arrow, because now you have the option, to choose either the "copyright free version" OR the "specific D&D Chara version".
Its a bug when its the exact same spell appearing twice, and taking up UI space for no reason and without explanation. It also goes against the PHB and SDF saying how many Circle of the Land spells you get if that counts for anything. This would not fly in a Computer Game or other production software.
I'm not angry BTW, its just annoying. It doesn't stop anyone using D&DBeyond but its definitly a (visual) bug. And if the beancounters are watching, it looks sloppy and reduces the 'percieved value' of D&D beyond.

I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)

Its just something that should be fixed. 🤷♂️
This is also a niggling problem for me as well. I have the free Acid Arrow but also the copyrighted Melf's Acid Arrow on my sheet now.
