When adding the Aberrant Dragonmark feat to a character, there's a 1st level spell called "Spiny Shield" that is an option, but isn't a viable spell from any of the source books. It appears to be some kind of homebrew spell.
Yep, it's a homebrew spell. If your character is in a campaign, then if the DM or another player adds a homebrew spell to their collection, it will show up for other characters in the campaign.
(Interestingly there are 4 published homebrew by that name, which appear to be based on a 3rd-party product...)
