I have been trying to join my friend's campaign with a character. I have the link and the character is not part of another campaign but every time I attempt to join with the character (or any other character) I simply get an error message that says that there is a problem joining with this character. I have tried to copy the character and join with a freshy made temp character. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Figured it out finally. There was a max player count it wasn't telling me
