I'm guessing the app isn't available in Canada (if it is, I'm unsure of the name and can't find it), so I'm attempting to use the character view on my iPad while we play.
The character menu is in the white space on the page, and also overlaps with a couple of icons, therefore is almost unuseable. I can post screenshots when I'm at home. I can't find anything recent about these. Then again, I didn't search all that much.
a) Is there a expected date for app release in Canada and b) is there mobile support for the dndbeyond.com webpage?
To answer your first point, the app is in closed Alpha right now, so it's still in the progress of being developed.
I haven't had a problem with the tablet view on my tablet, could you post screenshots of what it looks like for you? As well if you post your tablet brand/OS it would be very helpful. :)

In addition to Mellie's response, would you also feel comfortable sharing the make/model of the specific tablet you're using with DDB? It helps us to know if certain devices are not rendering the site properly. A screenshot is definitely most helpful in trying to understand why you're having such peculiar UI trouble.
Are you perhaps not using the mobile version of the site? It switched to the desktop version for me at some point and I had to switch back to the mobile version manually (via the button at the bottom of the desktop version). The desktop version looks wrong on android for me as well.
I meant to post screenshots last night, but due to concert and late night, it didn't happen. :) I'm at work (again, this sucks, but I should be able to post them tonight). I'm using an iPad mini 4, using the most recent OS, and using Safari. It looks the same using Chrome on my tablet, but I usually use Safari.
You actually have to manually switch back and forth? That's not cool.
No, but it's possible to manually set yourself to receive the Desktop version, which you would then have to turn off! I use Android so I'm not going to be very helpful, but I'm sure there will be a handy staff member around soon.
Thank you! Apparently I’d switched myself to desktop view. Things are a lot better now. I can post screenshots of how things were looking in desktop view. Just let me know!

I don't have to switch all the time, no. It's possible that I just hit the switch to desktop version by accident.
