Browsing through my character and noticed that the elemental affinity is not correct. It lists affinity as lightning, but copper dragon affinity should be acid
Its specifically elemental affinity. I opened up a seperate tab to double check and now I see fire listed.
Elemental Affinity (Fire)PHB, pg. 102
When you cast a spell that deals damage of the type associated with your draconic ancestry, you can add +4 to one damage roll of that spell. At the same time, you can spend 1 sorcery point to gain resistance to that damage type for 1 hour.
It definitely told me Acid earlier when I checked the class features, but I can confirm that I am now seeing Fire.
Dragon AncestorPHB, pg. 102
You have a specific dragon type as your ancestor. You can speak, read, and write Draconic and you double your proficiency bonus for CHA checks involving dragons.
Copper Dragon

That's weird. It shows as Acid when I look at it.

This is a known issue. I'm not sure how it's resolved.
