Any help would be appreciated.  I may be missing something here but for some reason, a 3rd level ranger in a campaign I'm running has a +12 to hit for his mundane longbow.  No magic items or feats.  By my math, the to hit bonus should be +6 (+2 Dex, +2 Proficiency, and +2 Fighting style - Archery) ).  D&D Beyond is calculating the hit bonus of +12 when equipping this weapon.

That’s really weird. Have you tried adding other ranged weapons to see if it affects them too?

Same deal for all ranged weapons - crossbows, bows, and thrown.  Not sure what's going on.

I cannot see anything that might be causing the extra to hit bonus.  What if you remove the Archery Fighting Style?

Thanks so much.  I changed to a different fighting style and that resolved the issue,  When I re-selected the Archery Fighting style, it calculated the hit bonus correctly.  Must have been some glitch.

There's a known issue with the archery fighting style (and possibly others, but it's seen a lot with the archery one) where because of cacheing issues it'll get selected multiple times, stacking the bonus.
