This happens with any dice, be they physical or digital. Sometimes you get streaks.
Usually when it comes to physical dice though you can just switch your dice around. I wonder if that would work with digital dice, just go and change what dice your using to a different set, go back to your sheet or if you keep it open in another tab refresh it.
As to the algorithm used for the die rolls, that is completely random, would be like opening a blank excel spreadsheet and putting "=RANDBETWEEN(1,20) into a cell and hitting F9 to recalc the sheet, you are often going to see one number more than others.

The last few sessions we have played, we have seen nat 1 on like 15% of all rolls and 18 on 10% of rolls. It seems really off.
