Throughout D&D Beyond, there is a parameter called Source Category that you can filter by. For example, it is a parameter under Advanced Search for spells. What are the members of each of these categories? In particular, what sources are in Core D&D and in Noncore D&D? Where does something like Xanathar's fit?
As best as I can tell, this thread doesn't really answer the question. There is a bit of insight into what sources are considered core, but they don't have a list.
A comprehensive list would be very nice.
