Something I realized recently: Divine soul sorcerers can learn spells from the cleric spell list, which is not their class's spell list, per their divine magic feature. As written, the divine soul should be able to select from that expanded cleric spell list, but when checking this in the D&DBeyond character builder, it is not possible to do so. For example, I checked for aura of vitality, aura of purity, and aura of purity, and they did not appear as selectable options for my divine soul, even with the expanded sorcerer spell list enabled. In the character creator, the expanded spell lists from Tasha's must be specifically enabled under the Optional Class Features for each of a character's classes separately. I suspect this is the source of the issue, as there is no option to enable the expanded cleric spell list for the divine soul.
For reference, I have purchased both Xanathar's and Tasha's on D&DBeyond and ensured that the optional class features toggle was enabled.
