In the character builder, 2024 Warlock can only select Invocations from PHB24, and cannot choose any from, for example, TCE or XGE. 2014 Warlock on the same character is able to select Invocations from any book. I believe this to be a bug or oversight because I am able to select Feats from those books as a 2024 Warlock.
This is a topic that has received a lot of discussion in other threads on this forum. Depending on how you interpret the rules in the new Player's Handbook, they may or may not allow old invocations to be used with the new Warlock class. My personal read on it is that it doesn't, but there's no clear answer in the rules at present.
It's currently not clear whether D&D Beyond's lack of implementation for this is a deliberate decision or an oversight.

Forgot to mention, I am having this issue on both the mobile app and website.

Guess I'm hand writing my character sheet, then. I want Far Scribe for flavor reasons.
