I thought I had gotten A.Inc. and LMoP at the end of may but now that I had time and tried to open the book and give it a read I realized I don't have it. A bit weird to have one book be automatically claimed and the not other. Why wouldn't both books just be claimed automatically as LMoP was? I assume there's no way for me to redeem it now is there?
I like AI and I thought the book was pretty decent. Battle Balloons are pretty awesome. I find keg robots hilarious because of where they dispense liquids, but even in a serious context, I think they still make great NPCs and allies in combat because of how unique they are (and as GM you can always just move their spouts to somewhere less carnal). And their base building is pretty cool too. I am not a huge fan of the tone of the writing as I find it too distracting and not very pleasant to read, but it is not a huge deal.
However, there were/are quite a few people who absolutely despise AI because of the tone and basically just disregard the whole book. While I can sympathize with them a bit, I find that attitude kind of dumb. Since so many people had issues with AI, I think Wizards made the right call to limit access to AI so only people who really want it will claim it.

1. Because LMoP is free forever, where AI was not
2. Probably not, no

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB
