I'm trying to add a homebrew background for my campaign, and I ran into a few minor bugs.
Firstly, when creating a background while using criminal/spy as a base to start from, the 'tool proficiencies' section shows Thieves' Tools but doesn't show the option to choose from a gaming set, which should be there. As a result of this, if I create a new background using criminal/spy, I can't delete the gaming tool proficiency for my new background.
Secondly, when I hover my cursor over the help icon next to the 'Background-Specific Table Name' section, there is a typo in the text box that pops up. It displays the word "backgournd".
Lastly, I would have thought you could add Thieves' Cant to your languages but it is not on the list to choose from. Can this be added to the list, or is there a way to give us a custom text box so we can add custom languages?
Edit: I also found that creating a background while using outlander as a base, you can't delete the proficiency with musical instruments as it doesn't appear when editing the background. So when I create a character with the homebrew background, it gives me the option to choose a musical instrument proficiency, which I don't want. This may be the case with other backgrounds if you choose to use them as a base for your homebrew background.

Just tried to add Thieves' Cant to a homebrew background myself. It still is not listed under languages?
