I have a Master subscription and I'm only sharing content with two campaigns. I have purchased magic items specifically for one of those games. Content sharing is turned on. For some reason, two of my players can see the shared content and two cannot. For example, I bought the Breathing Bubble. When two players search "breath" in Manage Inventory, they see and can add Breathing Bubble to their inventory. The other two players cannot see that item. Same goes for the Corpse Slayer weapons I purchased. Two can see them in Manage Inventory, two cannot.
I have removed the players who cannot see this content from the campaign and had them rejoin, but they still can't see those items. I have A-B'd the settings for a player for whom it is working and a player for whom it is not, and I can't spot any differences. I have searched and searched forums for what I'm doing wrong and have come up empty.
Does anyone have any idea what might cause this? Again, I am sharing content, otherwise the two players who can see the content wouldn't be able to.
P.S. I tried to add images of what the players are seeing (or not seeing) but adding an image here just puts a tiny square in the top-left corner. Not very useful.
There's no image hosting on the site, you'd have to upload it elsewhere, like imgurl or similar.
Make sure they have Critical Role content on, since both the items you have listed are from EGtW. But it sounds like you've already checked for that. Try turning your content sharing off and on again.
Ugh. I knew it was something simple. I completely overlooked the Critical Role content. Or, at least it never crossed my mind that that could cause the issue. Makes perfect sense, though. Thank you thank you thank you.
