Rogue class is missing 2 proficiencies: Perception and Stealth. I checked this with an existing character and when creating a fresh one.
Those proficiencies sit in Expertise section instead.
What do you mean by "missing" proficiencies? If you mean that they are marked as Expertise, that is fine - Expertise means Proficient And Some. (Like, if someone is drenched with water, you don't also need to state that they are wet.)
If you give us a link to one of those characters you made, we might be able to help you better.

Thanks. I do know how Expertise works, but I can't set Stealth to prof. only, it's displayed in Expertise section.
When I edit a Rogue character on step 2 (Class features) you can choose your proficiencies and expertise. I am missing Perception and Stealth in Proficiencies section and they are available in Expertise only.
Upd: adding screenshots (I hope this is allowed?):

Unfortunately the screenshots are not enough to figure out what is the issue. Please post a link to your character sheet - on the character sheet, click on the portrait, and in that dropdown menu, select Shareable Link; then copy/paste that link here. (You probably need to make sure your character is set to public in the Preferences in that same dropdown menu).
But my assumption is that your race already provides you proficiency in Perception and Stealth - is your character a Tabaxi by any chance?

that is absolutely correct, thank you very much! My playing groups just bought DDB subscription and all rules bundle 2 days ago and I'm helping all my players (and myself) to figure out how things work here!

Glad to help. I love Tabaxi, that's how I picked on the skill proficiencies they gain as racial features. Usually you cannot select a skill to gain proficiency if something already provides it.proficiency for it - as per rules.

I don't believe this is resolved. My race gives me prof in stealth, but NOT perception. I can only choose expertise in perception, not just proficiency. What's going on?

Actually, I figured it out, thanks. It was an extra thing I had that was only supposed to be giving me keen smell, but it was acting like it was giving me proficiency in (all) perception. I got my DM to fix that, and I can now choose perception as a rogue proficiency.
