I don't seem to be able to make homebrew arrows or bullets of bolts because there doesn't seem to be a ammunition weapon type.
Am I missing something?
Nope, this option is just missing.
Magic ammo doesn't really work anyway (there is no way to assign ammo to the weapon). Just make a wondrous item, or just make it a custom item on the character sheet (wondrous items can't stack, custom items can).
