I created a Paladin/Druid character. When I gained 2nd level druid I got a 2nd level spell slot on my character sheet… cool, but why? A Paladin (2nd level)/Druid (2nd level) should not get a 2nd level spell slot… correct?
You get 2nd level spell slots but not 2nd level spells. See the multiclassing rules section on spellcasting.
