Every time I go to build a character, I have to go through the 15 or so Character Preferences and set the 5 or 6 the way I want them to be.
But these don't save for my account. Oh, no. Why would that be allowed. I love to waste time when building characters taking another minute to set this every time I sign into my account.
For this account that I pay for, this option should be available! Especially after I've payed plenty of money into the digital resources. Maybe dndbeyond could set it so that if you buy the 3 core digital books then this would be an option.
Instead, every time I sign out and back in I have to choose these again (besides that the gray and red option colors have ALWAYS been confusing, too).
I didn't see an existing question or issue about this in the Forums or FAQs. Hopefully I haven't missed this as an obvious option or setting I can permanently set.
Yeah, it is a little annoying, I can see how spending 5 to 10 seconds toggling all the preferences could get old if you make new characters frequently.
It would be nice if the most recently used preferences were the default on a new character since that would passively help everyone while saving account specific defaults seems like something almost no body would know or care about let alone use.
There is no reason for it to be locked behind a spending tier as purchases have nothing to do with it. That is just unnecessary gate keeping.
And yeah, the red/grey toggles have been complained about a lot. Everybody agrees they should have an additional "on" "off" indication on the button's design.
