when browsing the forums i noticed some big problems in the displaying of posts. Maybe its just on my machine (Mac OSX, High Sierra, Chrome 65, JS enabled) and i dont really know how to describe it so i took a screenshot.
there just seems to have been a CSS explosion. lots of wasted space. images too big. some data that is not relevant to the discussion at hand. do i have a virus? does it look like this for other people?
i thought "there is no way Adam would be ok with this kind of space inefficiency, i can hardly see 4 single line comments on my screen" and thats how i knew this was a bug and not a feature. and i envisioned they way i thought the Bad Eye would like to see space treated on the forums.
i know its not perfect and there are lots of problems here but its a simple representation of how you could increase the number of comments per screen by like 3x when this bug gets removed. let me know if you need more screen shots from me or other details about my machine to try to replicate the bug

seriously though, the 90's are over. lets Keep It Simple, get rid of unnecessary fluff, be concise and help people get to the data faster. this whole website is built on the idea of making it easier to get through to D&D data and digest D&D complexities. and then you go to the forums and getting to the data (the comments in the discussion) is laborious. its off brand and distracting. for all the reasons you are revamping the character sheet (difficult to find information, too many clicks, not organized well) are the same reasons you need to revisit the forum layout.
thanks for your awesome product. we report and request because we care.
update: well this is embarrassing i just found the Account Preferences where i can turn off profile pictures and signatures. but still i think more can be done to make the forums concise and not littered.
