Hey all! Newish DM, been running a LMoP for about two months now and we just finished. I got the next module on DnD Beyond and was looking around and saw the subscription tab and I wanted to get clarification on something. The top tier says you can share all your owned sourcebooks with players in your campaigns. Does that mean they will be able to access the books to make new character/update current thur the dnd beyond character creator? A few of my PC are playing classes not in the https://100001****/ PHB, like artificer or grave cleric. They bought the physical books, but kinda want to use the dnd beyond app to help level up and streamline some things.
The way it is described seems that way but I couldn't find an exact answer anywhere. My players and I are wanting to go in on the bundle of all the source books and if the subscription will let me share everything so they can use it to create characters/access all the books it seems like a good deal.
In order to access the player options in books, someone has to have bought that book or option on DDB. But yeah, the master subscription will let you enable content sharing on a campaign and everyone in the campaign will have access to anything bought by anyone else.
DMs can block the sharing of adventures/compendiums so they cant be read, but can't block the sharing of player options. (Something that people often don't understand).
