I live in California and the California Consumer Privacy Act, entitles you to the right to delete your personal information. I want all of my personal info deleted from DND Beyond Databases due to OGL nonsense. What is the best way to go about this?
I don't recommend having your account deleted, especially if you have purchased or otherwise unlocked any content or cosmetics.
WotC is not checking account deletion and it doesn't hurt the higher ups that are pulling this shit. They only care about subscriptions right now, and book sales in the long run. Cancel any subscriptions you may have.
If you are dead set on deleting your account, you'll need to create a support ticket. It is inconvenient for you and creates more work for low level employees that actually care about the community, but that's how to do it.
Your info & engagement have inherent value to advertisers in today's market. Further, it's their info. I know I want to take mine back. That's why I already submitted my ticket. Half the reason I'm commenting on these forums is to spread the word abt their lying, gaslighting, and greed. The other half is to make myself enough of a nuisance to mb get their attention so that they delete it sooner. If it leads to a permaban, then so be it. I'm planning on going with ORC or Open RPG anyway at this point.
Maybe. To my knowledge, DDB does not sell your info, though I suppose that could change.
For sure, point out their lies as much as you can. I'm doing the same. It won't get your account deleted any sooner though, the employees that see our posts and handle our support tickets are the employees that agree with us. The upper management that are pushing to change the OGL have never laid eyes on the community.
I'm looking forward to ORC and will definitely be giving it a go.

We're in the same boat. I'm trying to get out but I can't find the "delete account" button.
Looks like there might be something under preferences in your account tab.
