How is this still happening? I haven't been able to open a character since yesterday afternoon, which was during an entire session yesterday evening...
Whoops! We rolled a 1 on our API check. We're heading into town to visit the blacksmith for repairs.
This has been going on for almost a month at this point. My friend can't open their character sheets with OperaGX but can with Brave. I can't open my character sheets with Brave but I can with Firefox. It's starting to be really ******* annoying and DND beyond is saying nothing about it
You're right. this certainly isn't the first time I've run across the issue, but it's the first time it has lasted this long without 'resolving'. I'm beginning to wonder why I'm paying for such an unreliable service. Like you, I noticed I haven't come across any posts or replies by DnDBeyond addressing this, which is NUTS! I already cancelled my subscription when WotC/Hasbro lost their minds and attempted to revoke the OGL 1.0a then I re-subscribed when they learned we, the community who pay their salaries, wouldn't stand for it. Now, if they don't inform me/us on the status of their plan to correct their mistake then I'll have no recourse except to cancel my subscription, again - likely for good. WotC/Hasbro/DnDBeyond must do better or they'll lose my business.
Found that if you log out of your account and clear your browser cookies and cache the problem fixes itself, but it doesn't seem like it's a fix that will keep happening. Hopefully this does still help :D

Try again after a Short Rest.

Same problem here on Chrome. Works on Firefox but not Chrome.

I'm having the issue on Chrome, too.

Thanks for the info. 👍🏼 However, I’m hoping I don’t have to do that…
Still nothing from DnDBeyond… I’m waiting. We, all are waiting. (Not for much longer.)
