I was creating a Homebrew race and while the create from scratch had no issues, some of the races you could use as a template gave me the Beholder Zombie error. There doesn't seem to be a common denominator between the races that error and the ones that don't.

I'm making this post to let others know about the issue so that it can be fixed sooner. But if there is a hot fix I could do on my end (that isn't clearing my cache or restarting my router as I've done both), I'd appreciate it.

After going through the races to see which didn't error and which ones did, the ones that did error were from the Volo's Guide of Monsters races.
