In my encounter builder, I have an encounter I made some time ago. Repeated attempts to delete it have failed.
This includes going into the encounter edit and trying to delete from there, trying to delete from the main thing, and even duplicating and trying to delete it. (Duplicating it works fine, and I can delete the duplicated one, but not the original.)
Attempting to edit the encounter starts editing a NEW encounter, and doesn't edit that actual encounter. The system seems to feel the encounter doesn't exist. It's effectively a ghost. It existed at one point, no longer does, but sticks around just to taunt me.
I can't rename it to move it to the bottom of my list, and it's a big eyesore since I cannot remove it. It takes up one of my encounter slots (Right now I subscribe, but in the future, that may change, so having a slot I cannot use then is bad.)
Does anyone have any other ideas? Is there any way to contact D&D Beyond Support to see if they can delete the encounter manually from their database?
I have cleared my cache, logged out of the site and back in, tried different browsers, and outside of figuring out the code and using page console commands to see if I can finagle the system into actually removing the -actual- encounter, I'm at a loss of things to try. I also won't try the console thing, as that's just too tedious to figure out on my end.
same, i have 2 unchangeble and non deletable encounters dated by 1970 (actually one 1970 not grayed out appeared after my tries to follow guidelines in ddb support thread lol), support still ignoring request to delete them (despite 9 days passed from mail stating that they recived my request)
it can take more than 9 days to answer a support request, whatever you do tho don't send in a second ticket as it will move you to the back of the Queue
