It would be great if we could include links to dndbeyond.com resources within our homebrew.
Example: I want to turn a monster into a playable race. I can link to the monster (there are tags for that) but if I want to link to content in Xanathar's or Volo's the system squawks at me about "external links." My attempt was to provide additional details about the race without plagiarizing by copying it, and providing easy access to it for those who have paid for it. Those behind a pay-wall would just not be able to navigate to it (and would therefore be incentivized to purchase it anyway.) Win-win.
I was going to post something along these lines. While I understand to a certain degree limiting External Links that lead away from the site, why are ones that lead to descriptions such as Blindness or Grappled etc. not acceptable? I also notice that I have added other people's homebrew creatures etc. that do that include External Links. So why and how?
