The listed bardic inspiration die on a level 4 bard (valor if it matters) is showing as a d8, but should still be a d6 until level 5.
Ryndar Shadowsbane - Lvl 3 Eldarin Fighter | Kassar - Lvl 2 Lizardfolk Druid (Circle of Stars) | Finnegan (Finn) Taggert - Lvl 1 Human Cleric (Peace Domain) | Verdan Schmidt - Lvl 2 Half-Elf Bard | Grithik - Lvl 5 Deep Gnome Warlock (Celestial)
I can't reproduce this by simply creating a level 4 Valor Bard. Is there anything unusual about this bard? They definitely have no levels in any other classes?
