I've tried to search for this on the forums but couldn't find anything, so apologies if this has been mentioned before.
Many of the tables in the PHB/Basic rules resize very inelegantly, making them tough to read on mobile. In some cases it's merely annoying - in the Abilities Summary table, for example, the last letters of Constitution and Intelligence get bumped onto a new line. However, tables with many columns, such as the equipment listings, are practically useless: http://i.imgur.com/d3nm4R7.png.
I notice some tables behave a lot nicer, allowing for horizontal scrolling instead of fitting the table to the screen size. The leveling tables for each class is a good example (though the class summary is a particularly bad example), and the items in the items listing work too. But even still there's some inconsistency. Compare the table in the Characters section (e.g. https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/classes/druid) to the equivalent in the PHB: https://www.dndbeyond.com/compendium/rules/phb/classes#Druid. The table in the Characters section has more padding, for no discernible reason. Indeed, there are many differences in formatting (as well as section headings, which are better in the individual class page).
An additional unrelated note: on the classes page, it shows the total number subclasses possible for that class, rather than the number available to you (so for example, under Barbarian it says Primal Paths (3), but only shows me 2 paths, since I have purchased the PHB but not SCAG). It would be clearer to say something like "2 of 3 unlocked".
I’ve seen the mods suggest horizontal view to correct issues and that seems to correct the tables for me but it’s almost preferable to use the vertical view so I can compare items in a table.
