Hey guys I'm not sure where to post this so I thought here would be the best place, but as the title says I need advice/help. I have been playing 5e for a while with my friends but we have always used the physical books for it. I have the Players Handbook and the Monster Manual, but I want to get more 5e books. What I really want to do is to get them on here, but I don't want to have to repurchase those two books (seeing as they're rather expensive) just to be able to have access to all the content I've already paid for. Is there any code on my books or anything like that that I can use to unlock the digital versions of them, or will I have to stick to purely physical books forever? Anyways thanks in advance for any answers, I love this game and want to be the best player/dm I can be.
Unfortunately, no, it is not possible to redeem a digital book in DDB with the physical purchase.
You might find interesting the piecemeal purchases on the Marketplace (you buy only the options you like) or the homebrew system where you can replicate any content you want for private use.

As someone new to 5e, I purchased most of the physical rulebooks and adventures before learning of D&D Beyond. After familiarizing myself with the tool, using just the free Basic Rules, I quickly realized how extremely useful it is. I started to acquire the rules in D&D Beyond slowly at first, taking advantage of the many promotional codes that are out there, and picked up the core rulebooks -- PHB, DMG, MM. The more I used the tool, the more I found myself depending on it, and ultimately broke down and purchased the Legendary Bundle last week.
As filcat alluded to above, it is very nice to be able to purchase just what you need. A player in the game I'm running wanted to play a Tabaxi. At the time, I did not own Volo's Guide, so I purchased just the details for that race without needing to buy the whole book. Further, any amount you spend (e.g. $1.99 for a race) will get deducted from the total if/when you do elect to purchase the entire book. Similarly, the cost of the Legendary bundle gets reduced with each purchase as well.

Your question is a common one, and is discussed in detail here: D&D Beyond vs Physical Books: An Explanation.
