Why can't DMs roll dice on D&D Beyond? (...on a desktop computer, outside of the Encounter Builder.)
• On a desktop, DMs can't roll on the Game Log outside of combat (and then only if you use Encounter Builder.)
• There's the dice roller on the D&D Beyond forums, but it crashes and gives buggy results regularly, and is clearly no longer supported by D&D Beyond.
For a game whose basic mechanic is rolling dice, you'd think that the D&D Beyond toolset would provide a Game Master with a way to... roll dice.
I understand that most of the DM's rolls are "behind the screen", for which they can use physical dice or a third-party digital tool, but sometimes DMs want the players in their campaigns to see their rolls.
