6 years later, and we still don't have the ability to remove someone from a private convo, even though we can add whomever (even misspelled name)
Removed a player from our campaign this weekend (that's a whole nuther story) but of course he's included in all our campaign discussions. The only option is to start new convo without him, but losing (w/o copy/pasting) very pertinant info for group.
This ain't exactly real hard coding to do this. Can we request this option please?
The problem is a PM group is a group there is no one person in charge of the discussion. It's a private forum. You cannot force anyone to leave. If you want to stop discussing with that group - be it a single member or multiple - then leave it. You're free to invite others into a new one.
If you had "very pertinant [sic] info for the group" then that should be in the campaign notes not in a private chat.
It is unlikely this will ever change - since you're the one using a feature for the wrong purpose.

I'm using it for "the wrong purpose" because there is no other way on Beyond to communicate with the campaign group. Perhaps Beyond should include a private forum for the creator of a campaign for group discussion with the ability to invite/GTFO, or, the ability to exclude someone from a convo that they were invited to by that person.

Just sayin'....
:)
I agree it would be good if the Campaign had its own message forum.

Could not possibly agree with you more.
Even if it was only available for paid subs. (I do have a paid sub).

I can add plenty of people to a group chat, but how do I remove someone? I added the wrong name, and now I can't remove them...
I just did the same thing. How do we fix this? Is there a way?
Lot's of stuff ...
Hello! There is not a method to remove a user from a group PM. You could try asking the user to leave, or commence a new group PM.
For now, I'll mark this thread as 'request'!
And?....
