Hi. I believe I had an issue with the card that I'm using for payment but it was resolved. However, my subscription was removed (I think...? When I try to access my characters I get the really strangely worded error: Your current D&D Beyond Membership is: HERO ( slots). To continue, select up to unlimitedcharacters to activate. Your other characters will be deactivated until you restore them by deleting an active character to free up a slot, or by adding more slots with a D&D Beyond Subscription )
When I try to reapply my subscription, either of them, I just get the dreaded Couldn't Collect Payment error page. I've tried going to my account profile > Marketplace, which says I'm currently not subscribed, and pressing "Start Free Trial" results in the same thing. Every button that says Subscribe leads to the same issue. I've looked everywhere but I'm stuck. Please help!
Edit: Also I can't even delete characters to make space if I wanted to go that route. I can select them for deletion...but then there's nothing to press or anything to initiate it. So basically I can't do anything. There is one more option which is to cancel my subscription, which is offered on the couldn't collect payment error page (which is really confusing design, I'd think I'm already unsubscribed?) but I'm terrified of losing certain characters, including one that's in an active campaign right now. Since as said, I can't delete even dormant or test characters I'm afraid of losing one of the ones I need if I take that option.
