My group is adding the familiars, sidekicks, and other companions to their character sheets correctly (through the Extras tab), and we are getting tokens to appear on the VTT, but we are still having some trouble.
Initiative for companions doesn't auto-populate, although this can be set manually.
AC and HP for companions is not displayed in the DM initiative tracker, and HP cannot be set manually or adjusted for damage/healing. HP just displays as "--/--".
Attacks and damage from companions can not be controlled from either the character sheet or the VTT. (Players do not seem to have access to the companion stat block like the DM has for monsters). Players are currently using custom rolls for this which is not ideal.
Similar issue here. Players can drop a token in and move it on the map but that’s it. Initiative role seems to be working for me now. But neither DM or the player with the families assigned through Extras can directly access companion HP in Maps, and only the DM can access attack roles. Would be great if the companion can function the same as player tokens.
