Pirate Starting Equipment Bugged?

When choosing pirate starting equipment, it shows the following options:

A rabbit foot OR a small stone with a hole in the center OR a trinket

The third option (a trinket) does not have its own box and is unselectable for me. Is this the same for everyone or am I overlooking something?
