2024 classes have a requirement to use 2024 versions of spells exclusively. The legacy version doesn't apply to 2024 Druid and Ranger because the spell has an updated printing. Functioning as intended..
They shouldn't just erased the old versions instead of this hodgepodge of confusion.
Its funny because that's what WOTC wanted to do in the first place, but apparently the vocal parts of this community decided this was better. I disagree with that sentiment, and yes I'm aware of the irony that I was trying to access an older version of the spell, but I was apparently under the illusion that everything was made "backwards compatible" as a compromise to the complains they received about it going away. It seems that was not the case.

They never said everything was backwards compatible in the first place. And if you just read the PHB your class is coming from it tells you how to handle this very situation. The confusion isn't the site's fault in this instance.

First one I've seen of Legacy spells that don't have the tags for the new classes, so my player can't see it in her list.
Please add the new 2024 druid (and ranger I guess, but who plays those...lol), to https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/2039-conjure-animals
