We have finally decided to make the leap from 3.5 to 5th edition. So I have just purchased the Core Book Set on Amazon (the one for about £140) and really looking forward to getting a Campaign up and running on D&D:B, but I am having trouble figuring out how to get a copy of the books I bought on here.
How do I add them to my library please? Any help is appreciated.
You can't. Print and digital are separate products.
Everything outside the basic rules (most of the monsters, items, and spells, one subclass per class) requires buying the books on DDB. You can make most of the things for yourself with the homebrew tools, but it's a lot of work.
They sell the books in bundles with all the digital content for $10 over list, but I think that's currently only in the US.
The digital versions of core books are on sale at 50% off right now, though, and you mostly only need the PHB (and one person with a master-tier subscription for content sharing) to play on DDB.
