Interesting. I added a wand of wonder to my wizard to check it out. It displays its spells in my spell list even if it is not marked as active and not attuned to. They still show up when active but not attuned and as expected when active and attuned. Seems to be a bug. Upon further testing I've found other items that have this same behavior. I believe this bug applies to all magic items that cast spells and require attunement but I obviously haven't tested every item. The spells also appear for items that don't require attunement and not marked as active.
Edit: Wait, why is displaying the spells for wand of wonder in the first place? You don't get to chose which spell it casts when a charge is expended. Is it to give access to the spell description?
If a magic item isn't attuned to me, it shouldn't show me what I can cast at that level. It's just clutter in my spell area.

I would imagine. Wand of Wonder should be a special case in that it shouldn't show spells at all in your spell list as you can't control it.
It's nice for items that are attuned. I got a helm of brilliance recently, so it's nice to see what I can cast with it at a glance.
