No, but we tried again yesterday and it seemed to work. Although instead of projecting, we attached a direct HDMI cable. I'm going to try wireless connecting again later.
Nope still does it. I have done some testing, and you have to have tokens on the map and move them periodically to stop the Time Out. But we tend to play with actual miniatures, so we forget sometimes to move a token, which causes it to Time Out. I sure hope they at least at a reminder to the screen, so that you can say no, don't time out.
I also filed a ticket on Discord and in the Maps feedback. I think everyone should do the same.

I decided to try out the Maps tool with the new Spectator View. I used the Windows 10 feature to project my pc to a TV screen.
It would work great for about 30 minutes, but then both screens would change to a black screen with "Loading...." in the middle of the screen.
I would have to close both windows, go back into Maps, and re-launch spectator view. It was kind of annoying.
If you can get this issue resolved, Maps is on the right path.
Im Having the same issue using a TV to project the maps! Did you find any solution?

Im using two screens, one for me as DM to see the entire map, other with fog of war on the TV
Thats why the map starts to crash, because the DM Screen is not active full time.
Its a BUG, since as DMs we have a lot of things to manage, and cant freeze the map on screen.
Using DM mode on the TV will solve the "update issue" but it will invalidate Fog of War.
same here, but as I said it worked on Monday night.
Any update on this?
