I make copies of spells, sub classes, and items to see how the formatting works for the dynamic text. Sometimes I make copies just to see how that item is set up. After I make these copies those copies show up even after I have deleted them from my collection.
Have you deleted the homebrew or just removed it from your collections?
When you make homebrew it's saved in two places; your Homebrew Creations and your Homebrew Collection. You have to delete it from creations to remove it altogether (assuming you haven't published it)
You can do this easily by going into the item and selecting the delete option from the top right.
However, if you've published it, the options won't be there
I do not remember for sure, but I am pretty positive I have deleted them. But they do not show up in My Homebrew Creations or My Homebrew Collection. The only place I noticed them is in a spot like the photo attached; they show up under a homebrew subclass where you add spells like on a cleric subclass.
This is still an issue...spells I have deleted from my Homebrew Collection screen and definitely removed from my Homebrew Creation screen are appearing when creating homebrew subclasses.
Still an ongoing issue and one I would love fixed as an avid spell creator. I have about 50 homebrew spells made and after gathering feedback and rebalancing, I am left with all sorts of deleted copies haunting me.
Has anyone found a solution for this? I have duplicate items that I can't get rid of from my inventory.
Edit - Never mind, after removing them from my collection, I went back to my character collections and reselected my character and the duplicate items were removed. They just wouldn't remove when I only tried to refresh that character's screen through the browser.
You can't permanently delete homebrew, even if you didn't submit it, it's just how they have it, but you can remove it from your collections easily enough. If you've trying to delete older versions of items you created AND submitted, you can't at all because the older version item could be in the act of being used by someone and so they have to keep that version in the system for anyone still using it. You can remove them from your list of available material by going into your homebrew collections or creations, clicking the item description, and selecting the option to remove content at the bottom of the items description page.

I can duplicate this bug. It only occurs in homebrew subclass's additional spells, not in added spells in items, feats, or races.
Thank you for your report! I am also able to duplicate the issue, and will continue to look into it.

Still an issue, by the way.
I guess this is never going to be fixed?

why can't I delete a homebrew that I created?
